Outstanding Exam Results Confirmed

GCSE students celebrating their success Ysgol Aberconwy is delighted to have received final confirmation from the Welsh Assembly Government of its outstanding GCSE examination results, full details of which can be found on our GCSE results page.

Aberconwy Gains Confucius Classroom Status

Chinese language assistant, Cathy Lui with Sixth Form Students. Ysgol Aberconwy is delighted to announce that it has been successful in its bid to become one of only five Confucius Classrooms in Wales and will be pioneering the project here.

The staff members involved have worked tirelessly to secure this highly prestigious status and is eagerly anticipating the formal launch of the school's brand new facility in the very near future.

Further details will be posted on this website when they are finalised but in the meantime our Headteacher, Mr Wylde, would like to extend his congratulations to the staff here for their considerable efforts.

GCSE students celebrating their success Please be advised that photographs from the Awards Evening held in school on Tuesday, 11th October, are available for purchase from Fairways Photographic; the evening's official photographer.

To access the photographs and place orders please do the following:

Visit the Fairways Photographic website
Click on My Images
Select Ysgol Aberconwy Awards
Enter the password (obtainable from school by phoning 01492 593243)
Following the onscreen instructions to place your order

Photographs cost £2.50 for each 7"x5" print, £1.00 of which will be donated to the school funds. All prints will be delivered to the school for collection and payment at reception.
