RAF Intelligence Visit Inspires Language Students

We are excited to share that the Royal Air Force (RAF) Intelligence Analyst Specialist Recruitment Team recently visited our school to engage with Year 10 and 11 students about the vast opportunities available for language learners in the RAF.

Rachael and Andy from the RAF team led an interactive and informative session that included a fun, hands-on lesson in Farsi and Arabic. Students had the chance to learn basic phrases, and they participated in games and activities designed to help them apply what they had learned in a practical and engaging way.

The session also included a presentation on the role of language in intelligence analysis, with Rachael and Andy sharing valuable insights into the diverse career paths available within the RAF for those with a passion for languages. Students learned about the crucial role language skills play in national security and intelligence operations, and how these skills can open doors to dynamic, rewarding careers.

We are grateful to the RAF Intelligence Analyst Specialist Recruitment Team for providing such an enriching experience for our students. The event was a fantastic opportunity for students to explore potential career paths and gain a deeper understanding of how their language skills could shape the future.

Thank you to everyone who participated, and we look forward to more opportunities like this in the future!
