Welsh Netball Vice Captain!

We are thrilled to share some incredible news about one of our talented students in Year 11. Lacey has been selected for the Wales U17 Netball Squad and will proudly serve as Vice Captain! Alongside this amazing achievement, she has also been selected for the long squad for the U17 Netball European Championships 2025, which will take place in Belfast this March.

The final squad of 12 will be announced in the coming weeks, and we’re all rooting for Lacey to make the team!

To support her ambitions, Lacey will be attending training camps in Cardiff and, if selected, will represent Wales at the championships from 4th–10th March.

We are so proud of Lacey’s hard work and dedication, both academically and in her sporting achievements. Let’s cheer her on as she juggles her studies and training, demonstrating the resilience and talent that make us all proud to be part of Ysgol Aberconwy.
