Festive Food, Fun and Games

The Year 11 GCSE Health and Social Care and Child Care group was asked to attend a Christmas gathering for older adults in Old Colwyn Methodist Church on Friday 9th of December 2022. This event was organised by The Conwy Well-being Team. 

The girls volunteered for the afternoon and set up tables and chairs, gave out word searches, ran and joined in the Bingo session. Most importantly, the group sat and made conversation with the older adults who attended the event. Teacher Myfanwy Wilson, said “It was wonderful to see such a successful inter-generational event, and I was very proud of how the girls conducted themselves throughout.”
