Cymru Football Honours

Two of our incredibly talented and dedicated Year 8 footballers, Harry and Jaxen, have been selected for the Regional Football Association of Wales (FAW) Pathway! Both are taking part in the programme, which identifies and supports regional players in English Club Academies to qualify for the Welsh National Squad.

Harry and Jaxen, who are in different age groups because of the year of their birth, ply their trade at the top-class academies of Wrexham and Crewe Alexandra (respectively) from the English Football Pyramid part of the regional pathway. They regularly attend sessions with the squads and have played in recent mixed inter-regional fixtures in Newtown, and numerous others.

Both are part of a programme which will culminate in the Cymru Cup in July. This is the pre-cursor to full National Squad Selection at the U15 age group. We hope that their efforts and outstanding talents are recognised and that they both make selection into national teams in the near future.
