Honey Fair

On Friday 13th September, students from year 7 visited the Honey Fair in Conwy where they learned about the history and the importance of the 700 year old Royal Charter fair as a part of the new curriculum. Like bees, they buzzed around in the sunshine, visiting a variety of stalls selling honey and honey products, sampling local honey and busily collecting information for a survey. Back in school, they wrote instructions in Welsh on how to make a honey sandwich and subsequently used these to end a fun-filled morning with a well-earned and delicious reward!
