80th D-Day Commemoration
Students and staff joined Headteacher, Mr Gerrard and Head of Sixth form/Mayor of Conwy, Janette Hughes at Conwy Morfa on the morning of 6th June, to honour the bravery and courage of the D-Day heroes and remember the pivotal moment in history that shaped the course of World War II. Year 8 students, Harrison and Sophie laid a wreath at the Mulberry Stone during the ceremony, in remembrance of those who sacrificed their lives on the beaches of Normandy in the fight for our freedom eighty years ago.
