International Women’s Day

On Friday 8th March, Ysgol Aberconwy celebrated International Women’s Day 2024 in style with cake sales, posters, displays, ribbons, stickers and music.  We also watched year 10 student Lacey play netball for Wales, in a European Championship tournament streamed live from Gibraltar. The day was filled with lots of empowering activities but the highlight was an installation of hundreds of notes in the school hall, one written for every single female student in the school!
