The Geography Department was thrilled to announce an exhilarating excursion for our Year 9 students to Zipworld’s Bounce Below as part of the Gravity Geography Programme. This immersive trip promised an unforgettable blend of adventure and educational exploration.
Nestled amidst the stunning landscape of Snowdonia, Bounce Below offered a one-of-a-kind experience where students discovered the dynamic interplay between geography and gravity. The journey began with an awe-inspiring descent into a network of colossal underground caverns transformed into a labyrinth of giant trampolines and slides.
The Gravity Geography Programme went beyond adventure, providing students with hands-on opportunities to apply geographical concepts in real-world settings. Through engaging workshops and interactive sessions, they examined the ecological significance of underground ecosystems, investigated the impact of human activity on geological formations, and analysed the role of gravity in shaping the Earth’s surface.
