Welsh Signs
As a part of our Siarter Iaith (Welsh Language Charter) journey to the Bronze Award we are working on creating a Welsh ethos at school and increasing the amount of Welsh language that can be seen around school. One of the main ways we plan to achieve this is to give all our key areas a Welsh only name. We have begun this process with the key stage 3 yard, now named Y Sgwâr and also Glanrafon for the Key stage 4 yard. Both have lovely bright new signs to remind everyone of the new names.
