On Tuesday 13th September, some students from year 7 visited the Honey Fair in Conwy where they studied the history and the importance of the 700 year old Royal Charter fair as a part of the new curriculum. During the visit they also completed a survey, explored the market and of course, bought some lovely local honey.
When they returned to school, during their Welsh lesson, they used the ‘command form’ to write instructions on how to make a delicious honey sandwich in Welsh, which they then had to follow. They had a lot of fun, especially when some had forgotten to include instructions like ‘get a plate’ etc!
